My daughter Amy made this cute apron from two tea towels. Just cut the shape and add the frill and you have a cute individual pretty apron. The white tea towel already had the trim on it so it was perfect and the frill is made from the cut off part.
There is such a choice of nice tea towels these days that you could use so I think we will be making more of these for gifts......Sharon xx <><

hey sharon, thanks for your lovely comments...now the problem with the code I think you may be having is that you have to paste the code into the 'html' part of your post, I am not too familiar with blogger but there should be a tab in the box where you write the text for your post that says something like 'edit html', click that, you will see lots of things like
my text and lots of html code
you need to paste the code in this box then switch back to the normal text version where you write...hope this makes sense anyhoo!!!

oh yep most of the tablescapes have been for entertaining, but not this one, I just played with this while everyone was out today!
I do like to cook, simple stuff I love Nigella's first book How To Eat and Elizabeth David's books, also Nigel Slater is my fave, entertaining has been an issue for me, I have been very reluctant to invite people into my home for one reason or another, you can read about it if you click on the categories on my sidear 'entertaining'
